Meet Kevin Garbowit, Co-Founder
Kevin is a seasoned legal recruiter and law firm business consultant, specializing in strategic leadership placements for top-tier international law firms and corporate legal departments.
Before co-founding Porter Reeves, Kevin acquired valuable experience as a senior legal recruiter for another well-known legal search firm. In addition to his extensive recruiting experience, Kevin has wide-ranging experience as an attorney and integral executive member of several high-profile businesses in South Florida. As Managing Member and Corporate Counsel to a business management consulting firm, Kevin employed sound strategic business planning, effective debt restructuring, and implementation of appropriate risk management processes to help bring many financially distressed companies back to a path of economic viability.
He was also a corporate lawyer for a large private residential development company, and a Managing Attorney for a law firm that he helped grow from 10 to 50 lawyers over three years. While in this position, Kevin provided leadership, guidance, and keen process management solutions to the firm, enabling them to achieve vibrant, lasting growth.
